puzzle addiction

Help! I am addicted to PUZZLES.

Are you the kind of person who loves to put together puzzles?  Maybe it is the obsessive compulsive side of me (which hardly ever shows itself – just look at my desk for proof of that) or maybe it is the part of me that loves a challenge.  I am not really sure, but all I know is I LOVE PUZZLES.  Don’t get me wrong, I hardly ever do them – but tonight when I sat down with my 3 and a half year old to do her puzzles, I got that feeling.  You know…  the feeling of being addicted, where you just need to get a few more pieces in before you go to bed.  I bet if I were working on a really big puzzle I would stay up way too late putting pieces together.  Is it an addiction to the feeling of accomplishment?  That small feeling of being a part of something big – like taking credit for a certain section of the puzzle that you did single handedly?  I really don’t know.  I just know that I enjoy doing puzzles.

Tell me what you love most about doing puzzles.
