Coworkers + Workouts = Vacation?

Not many people are interested in vacationing with their coworkers. Fortunately, my coworkers are some of the people I enjoy spending time with the most, so that made our recent cruise together an experience we will all cherish. Beachbody has an all-expense-paid Success Club Trip once a year for coaches that meet the qualifying goals. Eight of my team members and I got to take our guests and spend almost a week experiencing the Carribean on the Royal Carribean Liberty of the Seas (Beachbody chartered the entire ship). This was really special for me because my sister, my best friend from high school and my neighbor are a few of my team members that joined me. For some of my team, this was the first time they had been out of the country.

It was such a great experience because everyone was unplugged (no cell phones or Internet) and engaged with each other. It seems like it’s so hard to stay present and in the moment when there are distractions easily at hand. Besides the amazing parties, spending one-on-one time with my hubby and connecting with friends, I got to do daily workouts with superstar trainers! Okay, so I get that most people don’t equate working out with fun and vacation, but I got to do workouts with Tony Horton, Shaun T and Autumn Calabrese. It was an incredible experience (even for those of us that don’t love working out).

My most unique adventure of the trip was holding sting rays. We visited Sting Ray City off the coast of Grand Cayman and stood in the middle of a sand bar where Sting Rays swam between our legs. It was a little scary and yet, super exhilarating!

It is still hard to believe that we got to go on this FREE trip just by helping other people. What is even better is sharing this opportunity. If you’re interested in helping others and earning trips, get in touch with me.
