The Gift I’m Giving Myself This Holiday Season

the gift of health & fitness this holiday

There is so much I love about the holidays. It is that one time of year that almost everyone makes time to spend with family, just slow down a little and really enjoy being together and the spirit of the holidays. What I don’t like so much about the holidays is the 5-7 pounds that magically appear on the scale come January.

Okay – you got me. They don’t magically appear. There are no spry holiday elves shoving rocks in my pockets. While I’m savoring time with my loved ones I’m also neglecting my workout routine and indulging (overindulging?) in my favorite treats. Well, not this year.

It is really easy to slack off on fitness and nutrition any time of year, but especially now. But, I know I will enjoy the holidays even more if there isn’t a guilty January on the other side. So this year I’m committed to my health and well-being. I am giving MYSELF the gift of health & fitness this holiday season.

Studies show it only takes 3 weeks to make a habit. So, for 3 weeks starting on December 1st (and ending just in time), I’m taking care of me by doing 30 minutes a day of exercise and eating right. There it is. I put it out in the world and now I’m going to stick to it. Plus, it is just 3 weeks. I know that even with everything else going on in the month of December, I can do this. It is a gift not only to me, but to my family. I have so much more energy and capacity for FUN when I eat right and exercise.

If you’re interested in joining me in this gift to ourselves, simply fill out this form and I’ll get in touch with the details. Oh, and besides looking & feeling great for the end of the year, there’s also a cash prize!
