Becoming a Beachbody Coach: Selling, Customers & Your Own Biz

I love “working.” That’s because my job is helping people. Not only do I help people reclaim their health and lead better lives, I also help people become Beachbody Coaches so they can start helping others. People tend to have quite a few questions when they are considering becoming a Team Beachbody Coach. Here are my answers to some of the most common questions:

How can I sell product? I am not a salesman.

The best part about being a Team Beachbody Coach is that you don’t have to SELL at all. You simply share your results and help others see how the products you are using are changing your life and the lives of the people around you. It is amazing how simple this becomes when think about it. As humans, it is second nature to want to help others.

I know that when I began to see results using Beachbody products, I became an advocate for the products long before I signed up to be a Coach. I actually wanted to see my friends and family experience the same thing I was experiencing: added energy, less sluggishness, more vigor for life. I was getting up off the couch and being active and ENJOYING IT. This was way better than being dragged up by my kids saying “Mom, come play with me on the playground.”

I don’t know about you, but when I see a good movie or find an awesome restaurant I want others to try it too. We do this type of ‘selling’ all the time, but we don’t consider it selling at all. I think of it as sharing. I love finding ways to add value to people’s lives and being a coach FIT RIGHT IN for me.

How will I find customers?

This is a very good question and most people think that when they become a Team Beachbody Coach they will need to hit up their family and friends and start to ‘sell’ them product.

The fact is, there are people all around you wanting to improve themselves. Eat better. Lose a few pounds. Set a new fitness goal. Want to be accountable. I am here to teach you how to connect with these people and learn how to help them without ‘selling’ to them.

I will be honest with you and tell you that this business IS a relationship business. You will need to meet people, take interest in them, listen to them and have a true desire to HELP them. But if you can do that, you will never have to look far for customers. They are all around you ALL THE TIME.

In addition to helping you learn how to work with the people you interact with, Beachbody has a Customer Lead program that you can qualify for. There is NO COST for these leads – Beachbody spends over $100,000,000 a year advertising OUR products on various media outlets (I am sure you have seen a few of our infomercials yourself). The customers that come in through these programs are assigned to qualified coaches. It is a pretty amazing program and the customers generated through this program are the icing on the cake when you are working to develop your coaching business.

I have never owned my own business, How will I know what to do?

Don’t worry, when you decide to become a coach on my team – you become a part of an already successful coaching team with many leaders and lots of guidance.
Remember, the most successful coaches are SHARING why they love Beachbody and what they love. On my team you will learn how to do that without FEELING like a salesperson.

Your Beachbody Coach business comes with all of the tools for you to be successful. You will have a Coach Office to manage your customers, orders and your commissions. I will share with you what has worked for me and help you build a successful coaching business.

Will I get Training or Guidance? Am I doing this on my own?

You are definitely not going to feel like you are doing this alone. On top of the award winning training that Beachbody has developed – my team training will set you up for success. You will have a team of successful coaches to reach out to and work with when you join.

How will I have time for this? I am a VERY BUSY person.

I hear you! I am a busy mom with 4 active children and I find that anyone can do this, they just have to work it into their lives. For me, sharing when I am out and about works best. Many of my team members use social media to build their business.

It is all about your desire to make a change and help more people. I understand how busy we all are these days and will help you make time and prioritize your business with your goals in mind.

I like to think of this quote “Let Beachbody give you a life – don’t let it become your life”. Although I am a HUGE Beachbody advocate and a very successful coach, being a mom and contributing to my community are the most important roles I play in life. I will teach you how to share and help others without giving up the things you love to do.

I have learned that we never just HAVE more time…. We have to make time for the things we find important. I started this business working in 10 minute increments 3 times a day. I am happy to share how that approach worked for me.
