Overcome the Fear of “Yes”

People come to me with all kinds of questions and hurdles to overcome. They want to start on a healthier path, but they don’t know where to start. They want to make themselves a priority, but it’s been so long that they don’t know what that looks like.

It’s also scary to make a big change in your life. To finally say “yes” to yourself and your health. But doing something for you is necessary if you want take care of yourself and be there for your loved ones.

I want to take some of the mystery away from what it looks like to say yes to a challenge group and answer some of the questions I get most often about what it looks like.

Who can join a challenge group?

I host challenge groups with people of all walks of life—stay at home moms, working professionals, young parents, empty nesters, men, women, you name it. The one requirement is that they are using a Beachbody workout to help improve their health.

How much does it cost?

The challenge groups are free, aside from the cost of the program!

What happens inside a challenge group?

The challenge groups are hosted inside a private, secret Facebook group. And there, we build a supportive community where we cheer one another on and support one another through the changes we’re making in our lives to be happier and healthier. We hold one another accountable and share what’s working for us in our lives. And we talk about the challenges we face as we work toward our health goals. I’ve been doing this for 10 years and some of the challengers have made lifelong friends in our groups.

What will I learn?

Aside from learning how to love yourself and be kind to yourself, you’ll also learn tools and tricks so you can be successful on your health journey. You’ll learn how to make yourself a priority so you can reach your goals, even if you don’t have a very supportive environment at home. On the more tangible side, you’ll also learn how to prep healthy meals to save yourself time and how to say no to things in your life that no longer serve you.

What will I get out of being in a challenge group?

Honestly, you get out of the experience what you put into it. If you’re active and involved in the group, you’ll make big strides toward your health and fitness goals. Your mindset may shift a bit and you’ll likely be kinder to yourself. You’ll come away from the challenge group with a better sense of self and more self-awareness. And you’ll most likely be ready to take on the next big challenge in your life because you’ll feel better and have more confidence.

If you’re ready to get started on your health and fitness journey, or you want to try a new program, I’m starting a Shift Shop challenge on July 24. Find out more about this new, intense program and let me know if you’re interested in joining us. We’d love to have you!
