Conquering the nutrition battle seems to be the biggest challenge for most people trying to make a lifestyle change. While I don’t have the perfect answer, I do have some go-to recipes and meals that I use to make sure I stay on track. Healthy Lunch On the Go
When you’re out and about and need to grab something to eat at a restaurant, it’s all about making a wise choice. And sometimes, you’ll need to ask for substitutions to make it just a little bit healthier. You’re not depriving yourself. Let’s face it: any meal you don’t prepare yourself is automatically going to taste just a little bit better! This is what my kids had the day we went to iHop. (And I’ll tell you that it was hard to resist!)
Healthy Snacks On the Go
The most important thing is to just plan ahead. If you know you’re going to be out of the house, pack some extra snacks for you and the kids. Have your snack pre-measured so you don’t have to worry about portion size. It’s already done for you!
