Last month, I attended my 10th summit with Beachbody. I’m always amazed at the energy of everyone there, and at Beachbody’s ability to continue to push the envelope and try new things. This year was no exception at all.
Here’s my down and dirty breakdown of what’s coming!
New Program – The Work
Of course there’s a new program coming! One of the things I love about Beachbody is that there’s always something new to pique my interest and to keep us all pushing to new limits. This one is called The Work. It’s a six-week program with new trainer Amoila Cesar, trainer sensation to NBA players and celebrities.
This program focuses on functional fitness, agility and mobility and it also offers some tough love that’s so needed for every lifestyle. It’s an advanced program, so it’s not for everyone. It’s for those who have been active and are ready for the next level.
New Products – Collagen & Shakeology Flavors
Beachbody wants to help support your health and fitness in as many ways as possible. It recently released a new collagen boost to help you with your skin elasticity, wrinkles and nails. This goes beyond the topical lotions to help nurture your skin from the inside out. It’s flavorless, so you can add your one scoop a day to just about anything!
You’ll also find that old favorite and new seasonal Shakeology recipes are available. Pumpkin spice is coming back in the fall and peppermint mocha is coming out for the winter. Both have limited availability so get them while you can!
New flavor Beachbar coming in December. Plant-Based Chocolate Almond Crunch contains delicious chocolate, almonds, and pea crisps with 9 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber in 150 calories. Similar to our existing flavors, Chocolate Almond Crunch can be purchased in 1, 2, and 3-box configurations of 15 bars each.
New Clothing Line
Everyone wants to look good when they work out, even when working out from home. Part of the fun of being active is finding new styles and colors to wear. I’m really excited about Beachbody’s new line of active wear –from supportive bras to ombre leggings and even some great new styles for the men!
We expanded into Canada and the UK; now we’re expanding into France. We get questions all the time about the availability of products overseas and I’m excited for the possibilities. Ultimately, the goal is to expand throughout Europe and I’m sure we’ll hear other announcements in the coming years.
An emotional closing ceremony (that I unfortunately had to miss) saw Tony Horton retiring from Beachbody. He received a lifetime achievement award for his many years with Beachbody and influencing the fitness industry. I’m excited to see what’s next for him but sad that we won’t see any new Beachbody programs from Tony. (And yes, all his old programs will still be in Beachbody On Demand. We aren’t losing them!)
That about sums up this year’s summit. Next year, we’ll be in New Orleans and you better believe I’ll be there! What questions do you have? Are you interested in trying out The Work with me? Let’s do it!
